Red Stag Stalking at Ederline Estate
Ederline Estate offers stalking from the end of September to the 20th October, during the rut. This is open hill stalking at @1000-12000ft on 11000 acres.
Although stags have been taken off Ederline since Victorian times, it is only since 2003 that the Estate has welcomed paying quests.
The ‘hill’ is a very beautiful part of Argyll with twenty three hill lochs, moorland, rocky hill and heather. We have two experienced stalkers who combine 56yrs years stalking at Ederline.
At the moment we offer self catering accommodation in our holiday cottages which are exceedingly comfortable. Families are welcome, with Argyll’s wealth of history and our location there is plenty for other none stalking parties to do.
Costs.
£325.00 per stag up to 11pts
£100.00 daily outing fee (waivered on shooting a stag) this can be split into morning and afternoon/evening stalks at £50.00
We do charge three quarters of the price of the stag if the shot is taken, but the stag is missed. Should a stag be wounded the client will be charged the full rate.

We have a few days at the hinds at the end of the season and charge £150.00 per day.
